Deposits & Payments
We will email you to confirm your booking and hold the dates for 48 hours. You will need to pay a 30% deposit (if booking is further than 10 weeks away) or the total fee (if booking is less than 10 weeks away) to secure the booking. If you have paid a 30% deposit, we will email you an invoice for the remainder 10 weeks before you are due to arrive. If you do not pay the remaining balance when due, we will assume that you are cancelling your booking and the cancellation terms, below, will apply.
Cancellations 10 weeks prior to the booking date will result in a refund, minus an admin fee of 10% of the total cost. If you have to cancel within 10 weeks of your booking no refund is due. Holiday cancellation insurance should be taken out to cover forced cancellations. Cancellations must be notified immediately by telephone. We will endeavour to re-let the cottage and if successful may, at our discretion, provide a refund or allow the transfer to alternate dates for a £20 administration fee.
In the unlikely event that it is necessary for us to cancel your booking we will either a) try to arrange a new date for you or b) issue a full refund of payments made. We are unable to accept liability for consequential losses and suggest you take out travel insurance to cover this.
Check-in & Check-out
Check in is from 4pm on the arrival day. Check out is by 10.30am on departure day.
