Outside

Fishertown street naming can be a bit confusing, “Society Street” refers both to the street running East-West through Fishertown and to several tiny streets running North-South. Sutors’ Hauf sits on one such tiny street, so is very quiet with almost no traffic outside. There is a small front garden facing onto a quiet road. The garden has a ‘love-seat’ so you can sit outside in the sunshine with your paper and morning coffee! The small Fishertown shop is just 2 minutes walk away. There is parking close to the house, it’s unreserved and can get a bit busy when all the Fishertown folk are back from work but there’s always space to squeeze in nearby.

Living Space

The main living space comprises a bright kitchen-living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with integrated appliances (Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Oven, Microwave etc.). There is also a lovely original open fireplace, an extendible dining table and a large, comfy corner sofa. There is a TV, freeview and a DVD player. Additionally if you have a device and access to internet movies you can make use of the free fast fibre optic broadband available and HDMI link to the TV.

Shower Room

The shower room is under the stairs where the old scullery used to be. It’s freshly renovated, small but perfectly formed with a nice warm towel rail and plenty of hot water. There’s a luxurious over-head rainfall shower plus a wall mounted shower head. Soap and loo roll are provided for your arrival.

Upstairs

The bedroom is a lovely size, well equipped with a full-height wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The integrated LED reading lamps are great for bed-time reading and the large window lets lots of light into the bright airy room.  A blackout blind is fitted though for those long holiday lie-ins. There is also a small TV with freeview and a clock radio alarm. Additionally, there is a box room upstairs where we keep some bits and bobs for changeovers and the vacuum cleaner. It’s a nice place to tidy away your suitcase too if you like. Being an old house the stairs are quite steep and there is a tight bend at the top.
